137. I love how even newbies in the fandom can convince themselves they're so much better than Joker fans. Man, I am in no way involved with this fandom, and yet the anti-fangirl secrets piss me off so much.

167. Fandom can be about appreciating something for its own merit. It can also be about exploring new possibilities, while still loving the original for what it is (or, sometimes, thinking parts of the original could be better and working them out through fic/art/meta/whatever). It doesn't make you "pathetic" to consider non-canon possibilities. And your circles shouldn't "lynch" you for not liking shipping, if they're worth hanging around--your condescension towards them, though? That's reason enough.
