Star Trek, surprisingly, considering how deeply I love it now. I have a Trekkie friend who tried to weasel me in with the 2009 movie, which I hated lmao. So she was like "hmm... actually, if you didn't like that, you might seriously love the show," so we tried a couple of episodes of the original series. She was right, I did like that a lot more, but it was little a little too cheeseball for my tastes, so she was like "all right, last attempt, let's try Next Gen, and if you don't like that we'll call it."

I loved it! I adored the crew, I loved the stories, and I just kept wanting to watch more. My friend was very pleased, haha.

I felt the same about DS9, though Voyager a little less so after season three. I haven't watched Enterprise or Discovery yet, though my friend says if I don't like the new movies I won't really like Discovery, so I'm trusting her on that.
