Doesn't really work that way, and where his "omg scared" reactions are over the top, it's not entirely without some genuine fear.

i agree - i think there are definitely some locations that he clearly doesn't think there was anything there (apple taters) but there's some where he's clearly terrified and not faking it. i also, however, don't know if he realises the extent the normal fear of gross creepy dark houses plays in how much he's willing to read into noises that are literally nothing.

anyway, i love the show and it's actually made me way less scared of scary houses, possible demons and even other scary shows. if ryan can lock himself in a pitch black hellhouse and talk to what he thinks is the devil, i can watch a jump scare without almost dying!
