I actually felt Endgame was a fairly serviceable end to 22 films, though not perfect and I didn't like a few things. And I'm taking this as an opportunity to bow out now because I was here mostly for character driven stuff and I think the main MCU writers are more bothered about bending characters to fit a certain plot they had in mind.

I agree. Considering the monumental task of wrapping up such an enormous amount of media, I was honestly surprised at the amount of satisfying closure it was able to give. There were definitely moments that weren't great or felt force, but I felt like the overall plot was a really deft way of closing out this chapter.
