I've just given up on finding a version I won't end up hating because of the rampant, often untagged m-preg. I would be vaguely interested in some of the dynamics just for the smut but I hate m-preg with a burning passion and you never know if the fic will include it, even if it's not tagged. ABO writers are genuinely one of the shittiest people when it comes to proper, consistent tagging (right up there with "reader"insert writers).

This is my issue, too. I think the dynamics can be interesting, but I just can't take ass-babies seriously.

Maybe the fandoms I'm in have a different tagging culture but I've yet to find one with untagged m-preg that doesn't warn that spoilers aren't tagged or similar. I've also seen plenty tagged "no m-preg" which I appreciate.

I'm sorry that's been your experience though.

Seconding this entire comment.

So. Much. Mpreg. I almost wouldn't mind the rest of it - wait, that's a lie. I would mind the rest of it. But the surprise mpreg takes what I find unpleasant to begin with and makes it a thousand times worse. Babies Ever After is bad enough. Creepy power dynamics are bad enough. Adding the ass-babies just - why.
