Just say Kotaku. Shit.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
It's kind of presumptuous to just assume they even do, isn't it?

Were they written by the same person.

That's exactly what I came here to ask.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe they don't? Heck, maybe they're all ace.

Just seems a weird thing to spend time on.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Why?

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I've been in fandom for almost 20 years, and for the first time I'm getting demanding comments (usually unrelated to the fic, just asking me to write something else entirely). I tend to assume they're young/new to fandom like you suggested, but it's weird that I've just noticed it within the past few months. I think something's shifted, fandom-culture-wise.

FTM? Might be the testosterone.

This secret makes me think of that Lindsay Ellis video, "The Complex Feels of Guardians of the Galaxy"

Weirdly, I'm not really into this series for the "epic scale", especially if that is understood to be the supernatural side of the story. The show was best to me back when they didn't have the budget and battles took place off-screen.

Yeah, they are both shit people. More analogous, Jenny McCarthy gets shit on but not Jim Carrey.

I know this isn't supposed to be a funny secret, but the picture OP used along with the text just made me laugh

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Pffttt. Ten years ago people were happily being little entitled shits in fic comments--ah, sorry, "reviews". I assume they were doing that well before then too.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
The number of western celebrities who are also K pop fans is probably not as big as you seem to think it is.

Do you leave reviews on fics?

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
If so, what do you write?

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Story of my fucking life, man.

Although for me it's just a general disgust with associating sex and emotional intimacy. Hardcore squick.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
How dare you insinuate that the answer isn't "each other." /s

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Reviewers have been entitled for a long time

(Anonymous) 2019-05-07 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
As much as I hate it, it makes sense to me that some people are scared of vaccines. I hate it but I get it. I don't support people who perpetuate the garbage about their opinions being as important as scientific evidence, but I understand why someone would want to believe they don't have to take that step and their children will be fine if they don't vaccinate.

It makes zero sense to me that anybody would think Sandy Hook was a hoax.

Very rarely, but when I do it's long and embarrassingly gushing. I only write something if the story really moves me AND it's underappreciated.

If I make it all the way to the end, absolutely!

I usually leave an embarrassing display of enthusiastic joy. If I can manage coherence, I try to point out a few things I especially liked.
