I can't help but feel that if they'd put 'Guys, just to warn you the guy who makes this comic is x, y and z' then it wouldn't be an issue. I think it's the incredibly obnoxious phrasing of their warning that's the issue.

It also comes across as a thinly veiled neon sign pointing tumblrinas to'morally dogpile here'.

As the anon who replied right below you, I completely agree.

There's such a huge difference between warnings and reminders than what call-out culture has become.
