Oh, so, you telling me that her opinion is wrong as if everything you've said is fact isn't annoying?

I'm not saying I agree with the OP, because I don't, but just because you or other people ardently disagree with it doesn't mean her belief is any less valid regardless of if she can be proven wrong.

Because it can be proven just reading the series. Her opinion was already faulty in the first place. If she get said she doesn't get why people like them because they're better characters in the series, I would've simply disagree and went my merry lil' way. I don't care she doesn't like them, but to say they have no personality is wrong.

And if a belief can be proven does make it wrong. I can have a belief that sky is pine green, but it would be wrong and invalid.

Validity and veracity are not the same thing. Just because something may be provable or unprovable does not mean it does not carry weight or is not genuine and it is very rude of you to be so patronizing and hypocritical.

Also, you seem really angry over something that shouldn't even be anger-inducing. You've made your argument, you've even found someone who agrees with you. So just let it go.

An opinion's validity does depend on veracity. In this case, opinion is something cannot be proven or debunked. This opinion is pretty much debunked making it pretty invalid.

And where have I been hypocritical please? As far as my knowledge goes, I never said a character I hate has no personality. I expressed by dislike of characters before without retorting to that.

I'm not annoyed that she doesn't like Mukuro or Chrome. I'm annoyed with this trend that saying a character has no personality because they don't like them. I wouldn't even bother with the secret if she said they were boring or uninteresting characters because they would really be an opinion. I have plenty of characters I hate, but I would never say they had no personality.

And I'm not debating over the subject on hand. I'm debating that this opinion isn't really one because it can be proven.

This has nothing to do with the few characters she does like getting any less or any more screen time and the only bias she read the series with, was with me singing its praises. Opinions can't be faulty, they can't be wrong - just agreed or disagreed with. She doesn't like those two characters because she sees no real personality to like in the first place. You disagree with that assertion because you believe they have personalities. God forbid people have different opinions.

You believing the sky is pine green would be wrong, but it would still be a valid opinion even if over 6 billion people disagree with you.

A opinion's validity depends on veracity. Crazy, but true. An opinion is something that can't be proven right or wrong. It can be proven that they have a personality. Therefore it's a faulty opinion in the first place. My "opinion" that the sky is pine green is wrong because it can be proven it's not.

If she worded the secret differently in that the characters are boring or uninteresting, it would be a valid opinion because you can't prove a character is interesting or not.

You disagree with it, just leave it at that ffs. I still don't get why you insist on saying her opinion is "faulty". I don't care if your opinion can be proved a billion times over, my friend has an opinion and you should still respect that even if you think she's wrong and/or an idiot for believing in that.

All I can say is this, she normally has me look over her secrets to check they wording makes sense, as she's not totally sure how to word things sometimes as English is her second language. If I'd have seen it before she submitted it I would probably have her word it differently because the kind of reaction it has got isn't unexpected.
