Uh, not much bout Mukuro, but I personally like Chrome better BEFORE she becomes Chrome. Nagi, anyone? I mean, her wearing and acting like Chrome... Just, it doesn't suit her. It's like Amano's forcing out a pantyshot character/love interest character/a heroine character (who doesn't really count because she becomes Mukuro in some occasions). The eyepatch, the mini Kokuyo uniform and the pineapple shaped hair is too much.

People like them as husband and wife but really? It looks to me as a god-shrine maiden relationship :I

I don't like these two because they're too overrated D:
I like Chrome's position in the manga, just.. not with her looks.

Bonus: Is there anyone here who can point out character development in Reborn? I can't seem to find any D:

Tsuna has had crazy awesome (EXTREME? No? /Ryouhei) character development. He went from being an object of pity, to a boy who, although he's still terrified of damned near everything, can actually stand up for himself every so often. He's nowhere near Boss-quality, but you can definitely see him getting there now more than ever.

I feel like the characters that could be the most interesting (i.e., Mukuro, Chrome, and even Hibari) are glossed over too much for people to get a real handle of and that's why 147's OP as well as myself don't really understand what the big deal is. I don't know who they are as characters, so there really isn't anything for me to like.

Unless I am into battle scenes? ~~And biting people to death.~~

Ah yes, Tsuna :D He went from "A home tutor? Don't wanna ;A;" to protecting his friends and FREEZING MOTHERFCKING XANXUS. He's more tolerable to Gokudera's behavior, too :D (Sorry, I tend to forget about the main character and focus on minor ones ORZ)

I find neither one of those three interesting except Nagi (pre-death!Chrome, anyone?) and HIBARIK YOUYA.

IloveGokuderasohardXD THAT ASIDE. YES. XANXUS. I don't really think anyone besides Tsuna has had any noticeable development, though. They've changed, but not nearly as dramatically, simply because there was no real need for them to. (It's okay. Usually the main characters are kind of fail and stereotypical anyway. ^^;)

Nagi does have so much more to her than Chrome does, guh. But I think a lot of that probably stems from the fact that she is (or, was, at least) quite literally dependent upon Mukuro? And lolololz Hibarik Youya XD;;;

Xanxus haven't had a noticeable character development for 8 years, and Squalo hasn't had one for 18 years O_O ~~I would add some theories bout my OTP but nah~~ Main characters are usually boring ORZ

I liked Chrome better when she was Nagi, an introvert who has no friends. But well, without Mukuro (and Chrome) she'd be dead by now.

What I see is that Squalo's mentality stopped developing the time Xanxus froze since he gives EVERYTHING to Xanxus. In the Sky Battle, he didn't care about his life and his body, he wanted to help Xanxuss ;_____;

My apologies for butting in uninvited, but I have to say that I really like this interpretation of yours. It almost makes me wish somebody in the fandom would take advantage of this possibility, literally capitalizing on Chrome's apparent "lack of character" to explore the relationship in this way. You might even be able to expose precisely how the transformation from Nagi to Chrome, while life-saving in nature, also had the curious effect of decimating Nagi as an individual - as lonely, weak, and helpless as she was - by distilling her into this 'Chrome' we see, a short-skirted receptacle for Mukuro's influence. But I digress.

I'd love to see Nagi (not Chrome) in fan art and fan fictions but the least they could make is when Nagi transformed into Chrome and meeting Mukuro. But I did find some good ones in FF.net.

On another note, the second Reborn novel has a sction entitled "mono-CHROME", a story when Ken and Chikusa fled to Kokuyo, and when Ken met CHrome as Nagi. the first few days after Nagi became Chrome, she was still shy and stuff.

I agree, they could be really interesting, but not with what was given by canon (read: not much). So I think that fanon has a really big role in their popularity.

I love you. Actually even Tsuna doesn't change. There's still-good-for-nothing-Tsuna and then there is bullet!Tsuna. And sure, bullet!Tsuna has gotten stronger and stronger, but every time a new problem arrives, good-for-nothing-Tsuna behaves like nothing of the bullet!Tsuna development ever happened, and goes "I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT NO NO I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT WHINEEEEEEEE". He annoys me (you might have noticed, LOL) :|

And when you think about it, Mukuro IS a jerk :I

Tsuna? Well I don't really expect a HUGE development since the time gap between the time he met Reborn and the Future arc is, like, 1 1/2 year. But there SHOULD be a development because of WTF MAFIA HOME TUTOR BABIES. But LOOK AT SQUALO. AND BEL. AND XANXUS. NO DEVELOPMENT FOR 18 YEARS. D:<

I mean, at least what happened in the Sky battle changed them, right? At least for Xanxus and Squalo, that is; they're the most three-dimensional character in the Varia :\

I just want a little, tiny bit of character development. Why do you hate me so much, shounen manga ;.;? I just hope that one day, he'll finally start to suck it up, go all: "OK, I don't want to do it, and I'm scared shit-less, but I will give my best", without having to be shot by the bullet first.

Because he's got for nothing! And as of now, I haven't seen him doing anything important, so I can't help but see him and bullet!Tsuna as different characters :/ But his talking helped recruiting the Guardians and had influence on other characters? Still, compared to all the saving bullet!Tsuna did, this pales a bit in comparison XD

The way Squalo helped Yamamoto, convinced me that they will appear! We just need to believe it XD

Anyway I want the future arc to end. Seriously. The plot has gone missing for a long time and the time span for this arc is more than twice the Varia arc. (Obviously the Varia are superior to the Millefiore 8D)

~~Kicking Byakuran's ass? Since it's a shounen it's supposed to be Tsuna's job. I want the two to have a sad ending ;_;~~

I know what you mean. The idea seemed really cool at first, but for me it would have been much more interesting to see more of the future!characters and how they were influenced by Tsuna's death. And I don't think that they (read: Tsuna) will actually kill Irie, which indeed would force Tsuna to finally develop, because he would have to do the thing he never wanted to, killing someone. I just know that it will all end (again) with Tsuna reaching his next Super Saiyans level and talking the fuck out of them and in the end everyone will love Tsuna and there'll be a huge orgy ~~damn, I wish D:~~
