I dunno about the funeral thing, myself, but...i hate funerals, so that's just me.

Hell it didn't need to be a funeral necessarily, but a small wake-like thing where she's acknowledged fully for how important her sacrifice was. Because narritively those are done to impart upon the audience at how important the character/actions were, and she deserved her moment every bit that Tony did.

She did have a moment of recognition between Clint and Wanda. Not much, but there. I guess...she was a private person, she made the ultimate sacrifice for her 'found family' that she loved, and everyone honored her decision and was thankful for it.

I guess I don't really see Natasha caring about a funeral, or a wake, or anything else. Clint got to go home and get his family back, that's all she cared about.
But I get where you're coming from.

That's why I feel a small, private, gathering of the OG lot would have been appropriate, because as you said: she was a private person so I didn't need anything like Tony's funeral for her. Just something small at the end for her, mostly for the audience to close off her arc.

But otherwise that's my only niggle with her story in Endgame, the Clint+Nat scene is gonna own my heart for so long tbh.
