I think some of the criticism against her would still be there, but not all of it, and not with the same tone.

IMO a lot of people look for reasons to disparage and dismiss female celebrities, in a way that they don't for male celebs*. And when they find something, anything, there's a kind of enjoyment and public contagiousness to the disparagement and dismissal that isn't usually there with male celebs.

*This generalization excludes the fairly small but vocal minority of over-the-top SJWs who perceive misogyny in every single thing a man says and have zero sense of scale or situational complexity. Those people exist too, they're just a much smaller percentage of the population IMO.
