Trivia that's only significant to me: the show wasn't on a network, it was direct to syndication. Which seems like it never happens any more unfortunately.

I wonder if streaming services did away with production of stuff for first-run syndication? (Not counting stuff like Canadian shows syndicated in the US.)

I would assume it's partly that, but also the proliferation of cable channels and the extinction of independent local stations / markets. Just a guess though.

It is hard to top Bridget Regan and Craig Parker for sexy. Nothing productive to add, but I agree that this show was really hot.

I like it more than GoT, it's more fun.

I haven't seen much of GoT, as I didn't like the first book and it didn't seem like I'd like the show, but damn Legend of the Seeker was so hot. And so fun. I'm still sad it didn't get more seasons.

VERY LOOSELY based. They took the names and a few worldbuilding details, and just kinda ran with it.

I'd actually forced myself through the first book, back when I thought not finishing a book was a personal failure. The overlap between book and show was about 10%, max.

I very much enjoyed this show and got my brother & friend to watch it with me one summer. Such good times!

And yes, MCs are hot. And it was the first time i really cared for a villiam/her arc.

That show was fun, and so was the fandom: no drama, plenty of f/f smut.
