Trivia that's only significant to me: the show wasn't on a network, it was direct to syndication. Which seems like it never happens any more unfortunately.

I wonder if streaming services did away with production of stuff for first-run syndication? (Not counting stuff like Canadian shows syndicated in the US.)

I would assume it's partly that, but also the proliferation of cable channels and the extinction of independent local stations / markets. Just a guess though.
