Well you sure got offended... I do recognize the characters, but I don't watch the movies/show they're in, so I can't say much about their intentions. Next time I'll be sure to make it crystal clear for you hun.

There is a general implication that if people are believing they loved their kids then there might be some reason for it. I only know the details about Gothel so that's what I commented on... and there are people, on F!S I might add, that believe she did love Rapunzel. Which is why I said what I did.
I know I'm probably wrong, but it's really not that big of a deal.

I think this is pivotal. Thanos and that GoT dude are depicted as believing they love their kids (regardless of whether their notion of love is worth fuck all). Whereas Gothel, IMO, is not depicted as believing that she loves Rapunzel.
