Why woc in particular? Not trying to start anything here, I don’t live in the US so don't understand the nuance i'm obviously missing here.

Statistically speaking, POC in the U.S. have comparatively less access to just about everything. Relevant to this discussion: less likely to have health insurance, primary care providers, and pharmacies. Those disparities are a bit more pronounced in the Southeast, but de facto segregation exists across the U.S..

Also there's a statistical criminal justice bias where POC are more likely to be investigated, arrested, prosecuted, and get harsher sentences for the same crimes.
