There's something so creepy about GRRM writing about an underaged girl having wet dreams about a grown ass man who has done some pretty vile shit.

Yes we all know teenage girls are sexless

Except Sansa is not a real girl with autonomy. She is a character written by a creepy old man who has gone on record to say he would date 13 year old Dany because she's hot.

You do know Dany’s not 13 in the show right? You think everyone who thinks Emilia as Dany is hot wants to sex a kid?

He said this before the show, genius. He was referring explicitly to his books, the question was about who he would date in ASOIAF and he said Dany because "she's hot!". He's even said he considered Emilia "too old" to play Dany. Never mind how much detail he goes into sexualizing both the underage Sansa and Dany in the books. I get it, you ship sansan and are desperate in your attempt to insist you're not a creep, but Jesus, GRRM's creepiness has been well documented.

Yeah I’m gonna need sources because GRRM being a pedophile would have been a big deal. Chances are he made a flippant comment thar you’re throwing a tantrum over

Younger woman/Older man is pretty standard for published fiction. Especially young virginal woman/problematic older man.

IRL puberty gonna puberty. Lots of people have age inappropriate crushes. It's a fairly normal teenage thing.

If you mean that GRRM is creepy and writes his own wank fantasies into the books, then yeah I agree.

See my response to previous anon's "b-but teenagers experience sexuality!!" argument.

Yes, teenage girls experience sexuality, but these are not real teenage girls, they are characters written by adult men. Specifically this adult man who spends an unsettling amount of time detailing their underage breasts and how the girls feel their nipples against fabric and yadda yadda yadda. Might as well argue that the underage orgy scene in IT written by Stephen King wasn't creepy because children experience sexual urges while anon's at it.

Teenagers experience sexuality. That's just a fact. Sexual awakening is a theme in a lot of books written by women as well.

Do I think he writes the female experience of these things with sensitivity and a desire for authenticity? No. They're fantasy books and he writes what he wants to imagine girls think and feel, and it clearly sells.

It's pretty well known that GRRM is creepy and Stephen King was on drugs and wrote creepy shit. I don't know what you're getting at. I'm not disputing that.
