Re: Ships You Can't Admit To
(Anonymous) 2019-05-18 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)I've always been comfortable acknowledging my ships to my friends and family. I don't chatter on and on about them, because I know most people don't really get it, but it's no secret that I ship things and read fanfic.
I don't feel like I can admit to shipping Peter/Tony, though - even though I only ship it if Peter is a minimum of 17 before anything happens. Like, I genuinely have no idea whether my friends would just shrug, or whether they'd be super disgusted and question my moral character.
I have one close friend who's quite into the MCU, and who ships things herself casually, and we talk about shipping stuff sometimes. I'd really like to talk about my ship with her, but I just don't know if she'd be ok with it.
