Re: Doesn’t the last episode of Game of Thrones air tonight?
Sansa got what she wanted all along: for Winterfell to be an independent nation. She didn't seem to have a preference for who ruled that particular area.
Arya's getting to go exploring west of Westeros.
Brienne became one of the Kingsguard, it seems.
I assume Yara is in charge of Iron Islands under the new ruler of the Six Kingdoms.
Gilly was alive and well last I saw some episodes ago, and there's a chance she could have had a girl (this was left unanswered).
Cersei was always going to die. She believed in a dumb prophecy that I think became self-fulfilling after a point. I'm way more upset about who died with her.
Dany had to die. She had become no better than the Night King, even though the writers did a piss poor job of developing her character this season. She was going to do to the rest of Westeros what she had done to King's Landing.
I do hate that a little badass like Lyanna Mormont died, and it would have been nice to see if there was any chance Ellaria survived at all, but I think it would be ridiculous to force certain people to be alive just to ensure "fair" death count totals of both sexes. The deaths were supposed to be random, and a lot of men died too.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-20 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)Also the whole "rape victim stabbed with a sword, a traditionally phallic object, while the guy stabbing her kisses her" is gross on a lot of levels. So you can say that, but given I have 0 trust in these writers, I'm not gonna give them the benefit of the doubt.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-20 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)And if there ever is a sequel following existing characters, it's going to be about Arya's adventures in the West, because that was the most glaring sequel hook in the history of fiction.
