I hope this goes down in history as one of the worst ways ever to have ended a character arc.
I didn’t think the writers could fuck up as badly as they did but buy they sure did. It’s as popcorn-munching-entertaining as it trainwrecklingy horrible.

The worst part is it COULD have been handled in a better way with only a few minor changes and still had the same result (mostly). But man, what the hell.

SA

Oh yeah I agree. She could have made for a wonderfully tragic and complex villain if her arc had been written well; instead she just comes off as doing a 180 in the last few episodes of a long series and ends up seeming more like cookie cutter villain than the flawed character she was a few episode ago.

But the writers went and fucked up royally LOL. I’ll be laughing at their royal fuck up for a while now.

Yup. I can't say I would have loved it, but they could have made it believable.

OMG that's the most perfect description.

Legit I spent like 5 minutes trying to come up with a phrase to describe my feelings about the situation. I’ve read OOC bad fanfics that had more consistent and believable writing than the last few episodes of GoT did.
