What is everyone doing this weekend?

We are going to be preparing for more storms and flooding. Several main highways in our county have been washed away. This is a road I travel often. https://imgur.com/a/pemQAYZ

Other than that...playing Overwatch when it isn't lightning badly out.

Tomorrow we're going to Pappadeaux for my dad's birthay. Also going to buy a new phone. Sunday will go to see Aladdin. Other than that, have to prepare for the class I'm teaching on June 1.

What kind of phone are you getting? And what kind of class are you teaching?

Same one I had before. I lost it, unfortunately. It was a pretty cheap Samsung phone (70 dollars). And I'm teaching a class for Toastmasters on how to be a club secretary.

Oh dang, my area's been hit too. We had two tornado warnings in a row this week and flooding's back up. I'm thankfully high up but other people in my town aren't as fortunate. Hope things settle down for you!

Yeah, we are on a high ground as well. My sister's old house isn't but thankfully she moved. We have a tornado watch, but no warnings yet. I hope you stay safe as well!

Honestly, not much. I took Tuesday off because of an inconveniently-scheduled doctor's appointment and used the time to do a bunch of cleaning. I will have to see what other random projects I have sitting around that need doing (I know I need to re-hem a curtain). Otherwise, I will just be relaxing. The forecast keeps changing, but right now it looks nice Saturday afternoon and all of Sunday, but possible storms for much of Monday.

Have fun relaxing! It is always so nice.

I'm going to carnaval in the Mission in San Fran tomorrow!

I was going to say "absolutely nothing" but then I remembered that I'm training to do some local tourist guiding and have a four-hour trip planned on Sunday *g*

but at least tomorrow is all free, for the first weekend in I-don't-even-know how long, haha.

Trying to watch Peeping Tom (1960) and The Black Cat (1934) without buffering, and catching up on sleep, and reading!

I was supposed to go see friends tomorrow, but given how I'm feeling today I've had to cancel those plans because I feel fucking awful. I did nothing but watch soap-making videos all day on youtube because I can't concentrate on anything atm.

Yeah, the floods are just washing everything away. :( Thankfully, our house is on high ground.

Storms are also my weekend plans. I'm not in a flooding area (I hope) unless something goes really wonky with the dam. But there's another line of storms moving in as we speak...
