Palm trees. Succulents. Citrus trees. Trees that bloom in late winter or early spring. Roses. Magnolia trees. Lotuses. The ancient redwoods forest in Northern California that extends up the coast for miles and miles. Big old valley oaks (quercus lobata). Orchids. Any plant that makes a sweet or pretty flower. Mosses and lichen.
