What's your mainstream to obscure consumption ratio?

Concerning media, that is.

My number one fandom is the highest grossing media franchise of all time, but the rest is mostly comics/manga that are moderately to not all popular. So like 1:9. To put it another way, it's rare if I get spoiled for what I'm into and I'm on twitter all the time and take no precautions whatsoever.

probably 10% mainstream - 90% obscure

most of the "news" I consume is either broad national/international news which is mainstream, or niche news outlets focused on various personal hobbies so none of the latter is "mainstream" by definition

that was supposed to say "even most of the news I consume"

Depends on the medium? Movies and TV mostly mainstream. Books and podcasts, more obscure.

Movies: 90% mainstream (But I don't watch many movies)

TV: 20% mainstream, 75% sem-mainstream, 5% very non-mainstream

Music: 30% mainstream, 35% sem-mainstream, 35% very non-mainstream

I dunno, about 50 - 50 I suppose? Shakespeare and Jane Austen and LoTR books aren't mainstream in the GoT/MCU sense but they're hardly niche. But I have no clue who the Avengers are except there was a really good TV series of that name about half a century ago.

Steed and Mrs Peel were AWESOME

Agreed. They will always be the greatest Avengers in my mind.
