I think you're the poster child for /r/enlightenedcentrism and you enjoy getting people's hackles up more than you actually believe anything you say. I wouldn't say you're a misogynist, no, but I think you argue in bad faith constantly and you don't mind people thinking that you are one because that gets a reaction out of people.

Well, I do consider myself a centrist, but I don't think that means what most people who shit on centrists think it means.

It doesn't mean, for example, that I avoid having an opinion that leans one way or the other, it means some of my opinions are on one side, some of my opinions are on the other side, and you need to have both sides open to communicating with you to stop yourself sliding into extremism.

I will say, and I mean this most sincerely: I swear to you, I try constantly when arguing to maintain a good faith approach. I mean, you've seen me arguing, I assume, I think I have apologised and admitted to being wrong more than anyone else on this community when I get tripped up.

Now when it becomes clear someone just out to be a jerk, I have no problem abandoning any debating ethics and go hog wild on provoking, but I promise you when I am arguing a point maintaining a good faith approach is paramount to me.
