I wish Stuckys would have a little more self-awareness when they know they're the only ones still mad about Endgame but pretend it has absolutely nothing to do with their ship. It's fine. Your ship got torpedoed and it sucks. Just process it and move on like the rest of us, damn.

Some of us ship Steve/Peggy and still think Steve's ending made no sense. Not everyone is unhappy just because their ship was sunk. It isn't like Stucky was ever going to happen in canon. But that doesn't mean there weren't problems with Endgame.

For sure, Endgame was a clusterfuck. I'm not denying that at all. I'm just saying that it's only the Stuckys who are still mad about it. Like, livid. Still posting tweetchains and cringingly flooding the replies of a single nice comment the Russos left for The Rock's daughter on IG about how "homophobic" they are.

Like, the rest of us accepted that it was shit and moved on. Endgame literally gave us the multiverse; all things are canon now if you want them to be! That means we're free to forget about that stupid ending and do whatever. But Stuckys are still going apeshit and pretending it has nothing to do with Stucky even though they're the only group still going on about it. Idk. It's dishonest and incredibly annoying, and frankly an embarrassment to the entire fandom.

Mmmm. Maybe. Honestly, once I went to see it, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I liked quite a bit of it. The end sucked. But there were some good moments. So I'm not really angry about it anymore.

I definitely agree with you here. I don't think Steve's storyline in Endgame was very good. It felt weak and rushed at best, and a betrayal of his character at worst. But I am thoroughly convinced that most of the people who continue to rage against Endgame with a deeply wounded fury are Stucky shippers.

Uh, I am on Reddit. Believe me, the vast majority of those people are not shippers and they don't like Endgame. So, no.

Sorry mate - I don't give three-tenths of five-eighths of a single solitary shit about Stucky, and I still hated Endgame. It was shit.

The whole fracas around Endgame has reminded me how much I can't stand when other people don't like things I like. I loved the movie. Can't people just enjoy things? ...But I'm a huge proponent of the right to complain out loud, because I know how much it kills to keep things inside even when it's "just" an opinion about a movie, so I really can't avoid the hypocrisy here.

...And I do ship Stucky. Not exclusively, but pretty hard, and I considered it "basically canon" even though I knew deep down it wasn't. But tbh, it's a huge fandom and there's more than enough fanfic of every pairing imaginable to make me happy. Which I know isn't enough for everyone, but...I'm not actually used to my ships being canon, ever, so I adapted looooong ago.

Incidentally, I personally felt like Steve was giving off huge one-sided Stony vibes throughout the whole movie, though I couldn't pinpoint why if you asked.

I'm not a Stucky shipper at all, and I not only hate Endgame but am still kinda mad about parts of it. Not so much that I'd do what you say you've seen others do, as I'd never attack a creator, but mad enough I think I'm done with the MCU.
