Billy Porter's outfits are encouraging me to be more open about being gender-nonconforming/questioning.

s!b: It's still not the best career move to be out and visible while looking for jobs.

This is wonderful and a little heartbreaking at once. Depending on your line of work and where you live, it could actually be a detriment. :( Is it possible (and safe) for you to sort of have a "persona" to be in your private life outside of work without it being connected to "you?" It's not a perfect answer, though.
