FUCKING HOW?
I'm a follower of the Aesir myself, and if I was going to get bent out of shape about anything, it wouldn't be them breaking a made up rule about Mjolnir.
Like... Where is thors belt? Where are his gauntlets? Where is his big full red beard? Let's not even get started on Loki...
The "None but the worthy" crap was invented for the comics. In reality, loads of people, some of whom were decidedly unworthy, were able to lift the hammer. Thrym stole it and was going to blackmail Freya into being his wife... That sound worthy to anyone?

I get being angry about comic Thor getting the shaft, but really, that ain't Thor. that ain't even close to Thor. Never ever was. I mean if i wanted to get picky I'd be more angry than "Anyone who is worthy can wield Mjolnir" is the rule people assume to be true. When in reality even THOR couldn't comfortably wield Mjolnr without Meginjord and Jarnglofar. No-one in most the main stream even knows what they are.
If you're going to get angry about comic book Thor tricking people who don't follow the gods into not understanding them, I can get behind that.
If you're only going to START being angry when they break their own faked rule that someone pulled out their ass to begin with... I think your more interested in defending marvel Thor than you are in the thunderer.

this isn't even a white ppl thing, tho. I know a fair number of black and asian Odinists or otherwise neo-pagan types.there is no reason by any measure why someone who worships Thor, someone of any ethnicity, would have the first notion to get upset about someone other than Thor being depicted lifting Mjolnir.
What this is is TEXTBOOK "I'm gonna be offended on someone else's behalf."
