Started out pretty good but now I’m trying to quash an irrational anxiety attack over a spoiler for a tv show.

Over being spoiled, or the contents of the spoiler?

Went around to a couple yard sales. Bought this ugly fellow for $25. Then got all this yarn (and shelf) for $17. No clue what I am going to do with it.

That is a lovely ugly fellow.

As expected, the Gay Pride was too crowded and too loud for my taste, and on top of that, the weather was also way too hot. Should have stayed home as planned.
(Well I guess it's a good thing that the Pride is so popular but... I just can't do with crowds personally.)

There's a used car lot I go to nearly every Saturday to shoot the shit with a bunch of old men who were friends with my dad before he died, and one of them has the sweetest, most enormous dogs that I've known since they could fit in my jacket - one's a german shepard/wolf mix, and one's a lab/canary dog. The owner usually takes them along for his construction-inspection jobs, because they're his babies, so I don't get to see them very often. But, today the lab/canary dog was there! I got to hug and love on him and get my feet sat on! :D And then I went home and took a shower because he is a STANKY BOY.

I went the Jewish Museum in Munich. Then I walked through a cemetery. So sort of a somber day but I'd say it was everything I wanted.

Went to the gym, did some grocery shopping, had a cheeseburger, am now bingeing Good Omens and pleased that somehow Aziraphale and Crowley are even more coupley than in the book.

Anxious and weird. My dad texted me late last night to say the police have contacted him and want to speak to him regarding an "incident" involving my mother. She ran off 14 years ago. My head's been a mess and I have so many questions and I've waited for years for some kind of news, anything, and now I think it's coming and I don't know if I can handle it.

It was okay. The business outside the house took longer than expected but was worth it. The business inside the house was largely not done because I ended up messing around online, as you do.

It was actually pretty fun. The class I taught went well, and the training sessions I attended were interesting and gave me ideas for our club for this year.

I'm now drinking a rum and coke.

Felt kind of sick to my stomach all day and now have the start of a headache, but also, finally, a new tv. Went for a very short hike around a small lake, then to Target for the tv, am now home and gonna do some yard work. Waiting for housemate to come home to help me set up the tv. I’m also kind of worried that since it’s so light, my cat might go hide behind it and push it over.

Not bad. It got warm (meh), so I had to turn the AC back on. But, I got the yard all mowed, yay, and got some delicious ribs for lunch, double yay!

Now i'm showered, cool, my house is tidy, and I have no agenda. YAYAYAY!

Meh. Got reminded once or twice that I'm just never going to be normal, and that nobody's on my side. But I sorta got a free lunch, so... yay, I guess.

I was going to mow the lawn, but a thunderstorm passed through. I volunteered at an outdoor event, but it was poorly attended due to on and off rain. Now I'm trying to work up the energy to do a big cleaning chore before it gets too late.

My knees are acting up and my coughing- though not as bad as the beginning- is still here almost three months later. (For the record, I've had X-rays and my chest is clear. I was given an antibiotic, a Ventolin inhaler and an expectorant and I'm still coughing.) I'm so tired of coughing.

I was out and had to deal with nine insane children, seven of whom were crammed onto a bench at a bus stop and all of whom were very preoccupied with hitting and throwing things at eachother, hair pulling and apparently their favorite new game, Let's Push Eachother Off The Sidewalk and Into Oncoming Traffic. One of them almost got run over by a car doing this which did not scare them into stopping. Then when the bus came some of them tried to scam getting on without paying. The bus driver was of course having none of this.
Then I get home to find out the pool in my apt complex is closed. It had been open for a grand total of three days.

It was my birthday, so nice. My brother and sister in law have just adopted three little girls and I got to meet them for the first time. Best present ever!
