114. It's a way of ending sentences in Japanese. There are lots of varying ways of ending sentences, like nanodesu or aru or nano da" etc etc, and they all have varying degrees of maturity/formality. Nanoda is basically like saying "that's how it is," but very informally and childishly, and is kind of awkward sounding in English. Um. That's my attempt to explain, anyway. idk

150. You shouldn't cosplay to be the best. To be good, okay, to be amazing, okay, to wow people, okay, to have fun, okay. But with the goal of beating other people it's kinad. :( And unfortunately, yes, people usually like asian cosplay more. Bah. Do it anyway.

160. Yeah, I really feel like Yuuichi should have ended up with Nayuki, and was vaguely offended. Nayuki just seemed more mature and likable, and while Ayu was cute, I don't feel like she was Yuuichi's type as a GIRLFRIEND. As a friend, and a best friend, but I got more of a kid-sister vibe. But oh well. :(

When you start cosplaying to try to be the best at something it usually takes away from the fun. I have friends who cosplay the same characters as I do and it's never been a contest to see whose was better. Especially where something as popular as Code Geass is concerned. I'm crossplaying as Lelouch in a few weeks, several of my friends have cosplayed as him as well. When planning my costume I'm not sitting around plotting how to outdo them. Yes, I want it to look awesome and look as good as I can in it but that's not because I want to look better than a friend or whatever.
I'm being a complete loser and buying my Ashford Academy uniform which speaks for itself about has seriously I'm taking this costume ... I'm wearing it for fun.
