114. It doesn't mean anything. He puts it on the end of some of his sentences, but it literally has no meaning. It's just "flavor" speech. You're not a bad fan for knowing what it means. Frankly, they're probably bad fic writers for using it.

114. It's a way of ending sentences in Japanese. There are lots of varying ways of ending sentences, like nanodesu or aru or nano da" etc etc, and they all have varying degrees of maturity/formality. Nanoda is basically like saying "that's how it is," but very informally and childishly, and is kind of awkward sounding in English. Um. That's my attempt to explain, anyway. idk

Nayuki just seemed more mature and likable, and while Ayu was cute, I don't feel like she was Yuuichi's type as a GIRLFRIEND. As a friend, and a best friend, but I got more of a kid-sister vibe. But oh well. :(
