and even RPGs. And not just average RPGs, either; there are games like Planescape: Torment, one of the greatest RPGs ever made.

Agreed on the meeting in the middle. I'd like to see Western RPGs do something that isn't high fantasy or gritty space mercenaries (guys, there are other genres) for once, at the very least.

It's hideously difficult to find, but so unbelievably worth it. Not the best gameplay around (it can get a bit dull at points) but an RPG which *gasp* doesn't focus on combat and is *gasp* neither about space marines nor high fantasy. zounds!

Shame it didn't sell well though. :\
