They don't hate romance. They hate the constantly implication that women's lives are unfulfilled without romance, and that women's stories are uninteresting without romance.

I wouldn't throw around words like 'internalised misogyny' and 'lesbophobia', OP because it makes you come across as a dumbass. The OP has clearly stated why she exclusively writes m/m romance and sex. Did you not read the post? Or did you just have a knee jerk reaction (argh! Lesbian writes m/m must be internalised misogyny). Sounds like the latter.
I hear a few people write 'internalised misogyny' because they don't like people writing m/m fics. This shows me they have no idea what those words actually mean.

nayrt but lol xD you didn't even say what your theory was and just berated the other anon, what's ur theory/questions u want to ask the op? i wanna know what causes the op to feel so uncomfortable by lesbians bc that sucks to be a lesbian and to hate yourself, my theory is that op grew up in a homophobic family and has loads of injunctions to not be gay and not enjoy herself and yaoi is the closest to being gay without it being lesbian-gay which makes it safe. i've seen guys who claim to be gay comment on yuri manga saying they prefer reading that to looking for anything male-gay so maybe op is the same.
