I don't ship either pair, and the blatant turning up of the shippiness (barely noticeable in the book) in the Good Omens series just made me sigh. Plus it kind of made it feel like the focus was more on Crowley and Aziraphael than anything else.
The authors had always said that it was up for interpretation, before. Which was fine, the shippers could do that they always do and ship everything that moves and some things that don't, and others could just ignore it...but it felt like things had (hah!) swung the other way for the screen adaptation.
Heaven forfend (heh) that there be asexual characters in media =_=

Gaiman said on twitter not to rule out them being ace at least. For which he's gotten some shit about queerbaiting and homophobia as if aroromantic asexuals and homoromantic asexuals don't exist.

Really? Well that makes me feel a little bit better, but I would say that the TV series leaned too far away from the aro-ace side of things.

At least I still have the book I guess. Aziraphael isn't bloody useless and in need of Crowley's rescue all the time there...
