I just wish they'd been honest and said that they couldn’t obtain the likenesses of the MCU actors. Doing this “oh, they’re our own take!!” thing is completely disingenuous; their outfits are stitch-for-stitch copies of the movie ones. If you’re gonna make your own versions then... do it? There’s only a few basic attributes you HAVE to keep in place.

The thing I don't get is even if they didn't want to pay for the permission for actor likeness, it's still not at all close to what I've seen in reblogs and posts of comic art.

When the art is good, at least four of those characters are very good looking. Because they're meant to be very good looking, as often noted by other characters.

Tony looks like a beefed up Jack Whitehall. Nat looks like a bit like Colbie Smuthers. Thor looks like a mullet wearing Southern Rocker. Cap looks like sort of like how a drunk person might describe a drunk Chris Evans? And Bruce just looks like they pulled him from a different game.

Unrelated, but I want these to be Clue characters now. I’d love a Clue game with this as the box cover.

I don't think they look great, but I think people are too used to MCU likeness that anything different seems weird. Maybe they were going for a more comic book feel.

Oh, now I know why the voice actors have been getting a little pissy because the fans have been complaining about the character models. This is just amazing(ly bad.) XD

And it isn't that they don't look like the MCU actors, there's something really off about Iron Man's torso, Black Widow's hands, Captain America's arms, etc.
