Have you ever walked out of a movie?

Why?

Men In Black (I was like 5 and thought it was too scary) and some R-rated movie I snuck into and freaked out after 5 minutes because I sneaked in

Dumb & Dumber.

Guess it was just too much dumb to handle.

Walked out of an IMAX once. Was at a museum, was one of those ones that are all the way around including on the ceiling. It made me sick because of my vertigo so I had to leave.

Two: Last Action Hero, because I was like 9 and it scared the hell out of me (which, in retrospect, I may have been a little oversensitive, haha)

And also Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, because it was godawful and should never have been made. It wasn't even so-bad-it's-good, there was nothing to riff on, it was just... bad. IT WAS BAD.

Walked out of The Dark Knihgt Rises when I watched it the second time. The A/C was whining the hole time.

Punch Drunk Love. I walked out after 20 minutes because I hated everything I'd seen so far. People later told me it got much better after the first 20 minutes but I'm not sure I care.

Nope, but I was very close to walking out of the live action Cinderella movie because it was so dang boring. I ended up falling asleep instead.

John Wick 3. There were too many stomach turning things, the fight choreography was terrible (3-4 baddies converge on him and then only one engages him while the others just stand there waiting their turns) and it was just boring. No real developments of any kind, just him on the run and constantly fighting. Oh and apparently NYC and in fact every place on earth has about a dozen civilians in it and everyone else is a secret assassin. If the others were like that they were at least entertaining enough that it wasn't glaringly obvious in every scene.

I'll probably get yelled at for this because so many people love these two movies but Blade Runner and Titanic. I hated them.

Oh god. I hated them too.

I also hated Titanic! I found it more bearable watching it with German audio (not my native language) because at least then I had to think about translating.

Green Hornet. I've always hated Seth Rogan, so I didn't want to see it in the first place, but he was mom's favorite superhero when she was a kid and it was her birthday, so...anyway, I tried my best to just grit my teeth and muscle through it, but the movie was just so bad in every way that in the end I only made it through about half an hour before I just couldn't take anymore. Mom gave up on it only a few minutes later, and we went to get ice cream instead.

Ouch, that must have been so disappointing for her. And such a waste of Jay Chou as Kato.

Never from a theater though my sister hated Tree of Life, wished we did, and later agreed that we really should have. But when I tried watching The Social Network on DVD, I had to stop in anger and disgust after, what, 10 minutes maybe? Lesson learned, I don't have to suffer sexist, asshole characters just because... uh... I don't even know what redeeming qualities the movie's supposed to have, anyway.

Can't remember why, or the movie. Only that me and my friends got in lateish, so we had to grab seats at the front. Some time in we decided to bail into another theatre, only I just recently bought a new pair of heelies (those sneakers with the wheel at the bottom) and straight up faceplanted in front of the whole theatre. Basically everyone started laughing, and I got right the fuck out of there...

I don't sit at the front anymore, let's say...
