Re: What are some little annoying things in your life right now?

I just went grocery shopping, and there was a thing I wanted, and a sign in front of said thing that said "$6.99." When I checked out, it rang up at $11.99. I asked the cashier to take it off and put the item back, and she was nice about it, but it was such a shock to me. (And of course I'm the kind of self-doubter who spent the whole drive home wondering if I read the sign wrong or if it was over the wrong item or yadda yadda yadda.)

Where I live a lot of big name grocers/brands have a policy that says if an item comes up wrong then you get it for free. It happens all the time, so you should check online (or ask in store) if that's a thing.
I get the same way tbh, I know there's nothing I can do/it's already over, but I can't help but worry about it;;

For FREE? O___o

I'm a cashier (albeit not in the US) and if something rings up with a different price, we usually go with the one on the sign (if the item was in the correct space) but if the difference is too big, we don't even that. The cash register is always right, so we go on case by case basis.
