I just went grocery shopping, and there was a thing I wanted, and a sign in front of said thing that said "$6.99." When I checked out, it rang up at $11.99. I asked the cashier to take it off and put the item back, and she was nice about it, but it was such a shock to me. (And of course I'm the kind of self-doubter who spent the whole drive home wondering if I read the sign wrong or if it was over the wrong item or yadda yadda yadda.)

Where I live a lot of big name grocers/brands have a policy that says if an item comes up wrong then you get it for free. It happens all the time, so you should check online (or ask in store) if that's a thing.
I get the same way tbh, I know there's nothing I can do/it's already over, but I can't help but worry about it;;

I have a slotted mailbox that goes into my house. My friggin' mailman keeps trying to shove packages in even if they don't really fit. Sometimes I have to go outside and try to pull them out from that side. Just set it in the door!

Really? Like those things aren't that big, you should know what does and doesn't fit just by looking, especially if you're a mailman... Either way I hope they didn't break anything!

A new guy with a Mustang poached my afternoon-shade parking spot at work. >:( That's my spot, bitch!

My fucking gastro-intestinal endless fucking issues that aren't life-threatening (anymore) but just...do not quit.

I feel you on this. I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere in my quest to figure out what's wrong with my GI tract, but it's taken such a long time.

my general fatness

the lack of momentum, direction, certainty, luck, and opportunity in my life

last summer I neglected my yard (bad on me) and we had a nettle infestation that I had to spend most of October ripping out.

I am currently knee-deep in work and don't have time to do more than a quick mow once a week so seeing the nettles starting to sprout again makes me angry. I don't have time to go out there and pull them all goddamn.

also that little motherfucking rabbit out there eating my hostas. >:|

Aw, man, don't feel too bad about it. You don't know what's going on in the author's life! I know I respond to comments whenever I get a chance, but sometimes that chance only comes up every few weeks depending on my depression/life balance.

I had a falling out with some friends, and I asked them to return a book I loaned them last year.
They have not.
It's not even a valuable or emotionally significant book or anything, I just want it back???

Just get a new copy and consider the book unreturned the unfortunate (and oft unfair) price of a falling out. You've asked for it back, they haven't responded, I'd just let it go, honestly.

My cat's food is making me feel nauseated, just the smell of it, and I could get away from it, but I'd have to leave my desktop computer and go on my tablet and ugh

I e-mailed my friend and they didn't e-mail me back so now I'm worried they don't care about me and blah blah blah. I'm annoyed with myself and my brain, not with them.

I spent $40 on supplies for cats that aren't mine.

My friend got a coupon for a store that I'm on the mailing list for and I didn't get one which sucks because I was wanting some things from there and it would be nice to save some money.

Had a conversation with my mom earlier where she brought up politics basically out of the blue and I'm reminded once again that she's more conservative than I wish she was, and that bothers me. I know she has every right to have whatever opinions she wants and I can't control that and that I shouldn't be, but I can't help but be a little disappointed.

Trying to clean stuff out of storage and get rid of it, and I have all these feelings attached to things I don't want or need and getting rid of them is making me emotional.

I'm broke and don't get paid for almost 2 weeks, plus the stuff about my sister.

A couple months ago I got my first pap smear and the results came back as a bacterial infection. The doc said it’d probably go away on its own, and if it didn’t in the next four weeks to call and he’d give me an antibiotic prescription.

I got my period shortly after and in the general misery I honestly coudn’t tell if it was still a problem, since I actually didn’t have any symptoms that I noticed—or at least, not symptoms of a bacterial infection. I’d originally gone in thinking I had a UTI or something because I have to pee all the time and everything below my bellybutton is vaguely uncomfortable. But the UTI test came back negative.

About a week ago, I started having some of the same issues again so I called my doc’s office and the nurse said I had to come in for a recheck. They did a vaginal swab but not a UTI test, and this time since the bacterial infection was gone, they said I was fine and added the perennial “eat less, exercise more.”

I don’t feel fine. I’m overweight and could stand to eat less. I do however walk over six and a half miles a day, which means so far this year I’ve walked over 1,000 miles. GDI, I just want to go back to not paying much attention to below my waist except when I shower. I hate feeling like there’s something wrong and not knowing what it is or how to fix it.

I’m a virgin, so it’s not pregnancy. My blood sugar is highish but still normal, so it’s not diabetes making me have to pee constantly. My blood work didn’t turn up anything weird. I dunno wtf is going on.
