Yeah, that was the last straw for me. After years of watching the once-good comic slowly turn into a strawman-filled nightmare of a radfem trainwreck, the TERF nonsense is what made me finally delete the comic from my bookmarks, like I should have done ages ago. The thing is, I was pretty sure Tat would eventually out himself as a transphobe, so I can't say that I was surprised when he did, but damn was it still super disappointing.

Another thing is, for all of the comic's anti-porn/sex work propaganda, the sex worker characters are still constantly being drawn in an incredibly sexualized and provocative manner. It kind of reminds me of the movie Suckerpunch, 'cause the vibe throughout the whole film seemed to be "Ooooh, these women are being abused and sexually exploited, isn't that just terrible, but isn't it so fucking hot? *fap fap fap*" and Sinfest seems to have kind of a similar (if somewhat less extreme) vibe going for it as well. Maybe it's just me, though.

Agreed on both points - I don't know if I actually bookmarked Sinfest, but I checked in every once in a while for years, and... yeah. Shit got weird.
And yes, it's pretty hard to take the "Sex workers are exploited and oppressed and that's bad" seriously when it's all *sexy* exploitation and *sexy* oppression.

I was giving Tat the benefit of the doubt as I thought a lot of the RF nosense (Before it was obvious it was TERF nonsense and not just radical feminism) was mostly "Baby first steps into feminism", because, well, you can't get everything right in your first attempt. When he introduced the old tired joke of "I identify as an helicopter" and the gender-correction camps? I NOPED really fast out of it.

And yes, for someone who is anti-porn/sex-workers (Because he seems to have a hate-boner for every woman who chooses to work in erotica, no matter why she does so), he leans heavily into the fanservice.
