OP of the comment that was made into the secret, here—I wasn’t just talking about Regina’s rape of Graham, but Zelena’s sexual assault of Rumple and rape of Robin, and Hook being raped by a disguised evil sorceress in season 7. And although Regina never became my favorite character, I don’t think an undue focus on her redemption, earned or not, was OUAT’s only problem.

The writers were basically magpies on speed who went “ooh shiny” every episode. They dropped plots, character arcs, and entire characters like hot rocks for the newest “ooh shiny!” to the point where there’s literally no way to make a coherent timeline of the show, because the writers didn’t care if the overall story made any sense.
