Not this shit again. Kino is unambiguously female. Whenever anyone talks to her about her gender and she just says "i'm just Kino" it's not "I identify as having no gender" but " Kino wanting to be addressed by her new name/identity. Also the way she's addressed in most instances is generally rude and informal hence why she doesn't like being called in such a way. Comparatively, she doesn't get angry when someone correctly recognizes her as a girl.

For god's sake, the author explained that he hid Kino's gender being a girl as a surprise for when her backstory is revealed and how it has nothing to do with gender politics.

Agreed with this entire secret. I could see Maze having sex with Eve but overall, her relationship with Linda is the most 'realistic' (if I can use that term for a story about the Devil, angels, demons, and a God) love story.
