AYRT

Actually, I understand where you're coming from in the sense that you are a part of the society they are trying to provoke and whose censorship they want to push. Of course it's not for you. (: But I don't agree with the censorship and silence about this topic, to be honest, and therefore appreciate this aspect of the provocation. It's a fundamental dimension of art, take or leave.

They are not provoking just to provoke, they are provoking to sell something. And that's not anywhere near that ~pure art~ that you are trying to allude to. And I'm fairly certain you don't live in Germany if you think censoring tasteless imagery is the same as silence about a topic. There isn't a lot of silence when it comes to this stuff here.

Sorry, I didn't express myself correctly. With silence I mena censorship about them. I don't agree with the untouchability of this subject for artists. And of course they want to sell something. A song and video about their relationship with Germany, including how complicated it is that everyone is always up in arms about what they do. Every artist wants to sell something.

I actually do live in Germany, but I'm not German (just married to one) and I can imagine my social circles and yours vary with how we're willing to approach the Holocaust.
