I saw it twice, I paid closer attention to the details the second time and ended up loving it even more. The trailers were sort of misleading about the order/meaning of some of the events, but that's a common trailer issue. I suspect Godzilla suffered some backlash over that too. God knows Venom did.

But this movie was just fun. Plain and simple. And Chris and Tessa had great chemistry and brought some real depth to their characters.

I was inspired to write fic for it. It was funny, sweet and not cynical. The action was fun too.
