It's been 15-20 years since then but I'm still pissed about some things teachers in primary school and high school marked as errors that were not actually wrong.

I'm pissed that I got a C on a paper for using the Oxford comma and one rather than two spaces after a period. Every other teacher wanted it the way I did it. This one teacher wanted it the other way. I accidentally forgot on one paper. He took off points for each "error." My A paper turned into a C. Still pissed about it.

Oh my god, fuck that teacher, honestly. What an asshole.

Ugh I hate shit like this. You'd think teachers at the same school should all follow the same style guidelines.

Though this reminds me: I had a friend who was really bad at math and she managed to get some typos in her answer sentences on a math test as well. And in higher grades in my country's school, typo and grammar mistakes get counted in every subject. So the low marks she got for her math got reduced to a full zero points because of some typos. That was such bullshit.

I nearly failed a religion course because I refused to capitalize god.
