OK, like... no judgment but I feel like Criminal Minds is a little bit weird of a show to do that with

I thought Criminal Minds was actually based on real homicides, obviously in a fictional way, sometimes more so than others, but inspired by nonetheless.

Not the OP but I've seen the show and... eh, sorta but not really. There might be individual episodes with similar elements of a real life case, but I wouldn't say they're based on real homicides.

That's fair, I admit I stopped watching after an episode recounted a killer that was based not too far from where I lived, so it probably just hit a little too close to home for me.
