Missouri is always so weird when it's on TV/in the movies. At least it *looked* like Missouri in Winter's Bone, but the people were a bit over the top 'Deliverance' for anybody I've ever known....

It was fun to see Kansas City on Supernatural, but it didn't really look like KC. Ah, well! :D

I don't live in Missouri, but I've visited + seen Winter's Bone, and now that you say it, I'm surprised to realize the movie was set there. The movie seems more Southern than that parts of the state I've been to for sure.

Yeah, Missouri in the movies/tv always seems to be....Arkansas. It's so weird. They did *film* it in Missouri, not all that far from where I live, and the state is beautiful.

Just...not quite so southern, heh.
