I baby talk to the dog, but I've made it a point to not baby-talk to babies. Granted, I haven't known very many babies, but the one I've had the most, um, conversation with was the most no-nonsense toddler ever who seemed to appreciate that I was talking to her, a two-year-old, the same way the big folk talk to each other. XD
