The plagiarism seems to be referenced more often than the more downright user things she did. It really isn't that hard to go after her for the person on the inside.

And there have been charges that some things in her novels were plagiarized from Sherrilyn Kenyon also.

FWIW, Sherrilyn Kenyon ended up dropping the accusations of copyright infringement (plagiarism), but Cassandra Clare settled with her out of court on trademark infringement.
