Jesus Christ. I remember picking up Throne of Glass, seeing the cover and reading the summary, and expecting a bloodbath with a badass female lead. What I got was a Mary Sue barbie that was wondering which prince should she bang and a meanie that was bad to her.

I'm all for new authors getting in, but I couldn't fathom why reviews were positive for this garbage. It was hands down the worst book I've ever read.
