Even so, I still wish Halle Bailey all the best. Regardless of why she was cast, she'll have Disney on her resume now. That's a huge accomplishment for anyone. She can use that to live a lucrative life. For what it's worth, Disney has a good track record for hiring real talent, so it's not as if her being casted is entirely arbitrary. If the movie does well it'll be like graduating from an Ivy League school. It's having a generally credible, trusted place vouch for you. She could potentially take that opportunity and run with it, and maybe she'll become a legend of her own. One can hope.
