Oh, I *hate* it when people do the "If you don't watch/like my favourite show, then..." *sighs* Okay, I have no soul, then. I had no interest in watching Merlin when I first heard about it, and I have no interest in watching it now that it's being broadcast. It's not that I intend any insult towards the OP at all, I must add! :¬) It's just that for me, the main characters are nothing special - I don't care if they *are* Arthur and Merlin; to me they're just kids and I'm not interested in watching teenagers, even if this *is* a fantasy show - plus the Arthurian mythology doesn't float my boat at all.

Does it help that the teenagers are really cute, and one has a sword and one does a lot of magic? Probably not, but I just have to say that the whole show is just freaking adorable and worth a try on a boring day, when all the grown ups on TV are being asshats ;)

Poor Cait. He does kind of get the short end of the stick in fandom. I liked him in game, but DoC and especially the new information that came out about Reeve/Cait Sith in the Ultimania Omega really made me adore the little furball. And I'm already a diehard Reeve fan.

I'm confused by people who like Reeve and hate Cait. They're kind of one and the same, in a way- so hating on Cait is like hating on Reeve's goofy, inner-child side.

Well, I mean I do like pairings.. I don't get into them like some people do though. Never really did understand things like shipping wars and such. Looking back, my secret wasn't quite worded the way I would have liked. That there was like the 3rd draft of it actually, cause I wanted to keep it short, but still get the message across. Otherwise it'd have been 8 paragraphs of really tiny text that no one would be able to read. XDDD I originally had a lot to say, so it'd make a lot more sense.

The point wasn't that I hated pairings or anything like that, just that I don't want them to be canon. The comic is fine the way it is. Bringing romance into it would take away quality. And holy shit, think of the wank it would cause. I mean if Sohmer and Lar one day decided to start pairing characters off, and its not who the majority of the fans want... I've seen shipping wank in other fandoms because the canon pairing wasn't who people wanted it to be. So far LFG seems to have very little wank, and I'd really like it to stay that way.

As for the bonus secret, while totally true, I only stuck that in there because at first the first secret didn't seem like much of a secret to me. Not liking a pairing =/= secret.. at least to me. So I wanted to add something to make it a little more secret-like.

I think the sexuality thing was more in reference to the fact that a lot of fans of slash and yaoi in many fandoms are heterosexual females, not actual gay males.
