Given that, only you are going to figure out what these particular fantasies are saying to you, OP -- but I will say that as someone who had similar fantasies for a long time, I came to realize that (as odd as it sounds) they gave me a way to see myself as strong and of value to the world.

(Anonymous) 2019-07-13 10:19 am (UTC)(link)From my own personal experience, I find powerful catharsis in stories featuring certain darker elements. If I'm very very low then reading stories where the hero suffers those themes and then ultimately triumphs is powerful to me.
